We know you will enjoy the personal attention provided by our staff and facilities at Jungle Lodge on the shores of the Alto Madre de Dios River.
Our 12 double occupancy bugalows ensure that you are not surrounded by more tourists than animals and this makes for a more relaxing tranquil visit with more opportunity to find the wildlife!. Just enough other travellers to make it interesting but not overbearing. Triple bed accommodation is available on request.
Our bilingual guides will educate and entertain you with the mysteries of the Jungle, enrich you with traditional local myth and legend and the surprising history of this area. You will be amazed by the qualities of it´s plants, from which most of our medicines originated and from which most of the cures we desperately seek will be found if we don’t destroy it first. Each evening there will be some form of nocturnal activities. Night walks (optional for those who don´t want to look for Tarantulas and other creepy crawlies), Cayman spotting when conditions are optimal. And it´s possible, that your favorite memory of the Jungle will be the delicious meals, combining international & local cuisine, carefully prepared with fresh, high quality ingredients.
