Biodegradable soap and Washing Liquids: We use these detergents to clean our equipment and hand them out to our clients for their personal hygiene needs. This keeps our rivers and lakes clean!
Tote Bag & Daily Snacks: You will receive your eco-friendly cloth tote bag during your pre-tour briefing. Why do we provide it? To help eliminate single-use plastic bags when packing your daily snacks on the trail. Please keep your tote bag accessible each morning so you can easily stow your food for the day. Additionally, the bag includes essential trek information and serves as a sustainable souvenir to use long after your journey ends.
Intercultural Education & School Supplies: We design and distribute illustrated educational books in three languages (Quechua, Spanish, and English) along with essential school supplies to children in remote communities, fostering literacy and supporting their learning journey.
Christmas Activities: We know that all the kids in the remote villages of the Andes are longing for Christmas presents. Hence the staff of Manu Tours Peru drives out to the furthest villages in order to bring a smile to the lips of all the children. We are doing this every year, visiting communities in the valley of Lares, around the Ausangate and Salkantay and in Cachora and Manu.
